Did you know that propane is a "green" fuel?  It's true! By simply using propane, you can help cut greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and protect the environment.

  • Propane is non-toxic and cannot dissolve in water, so it is not harmful to our ecosystems.
  • Propane is a clean-burning fuel with low emissions - which means fewer greenhouse gasses released into the atmosphere.
  • Propane is listed as an approved alternative clean fuel in the 1990 Clean Air Act and the National Energy Policy Act of 1992.
  • Propane does not produce any significant acid rain contaminants.
  • Propane is produced domestically and is readily available.
